# How to Modify Attributes of Embedded Services


After you sequence an application but before you save it, you can use the following procedure to manually modify the sequenced application package.

**To remove an embedded service**

1.  Click the **Virtual Services** tab.

2.  Right-click the service you want to remove, and select **Remove**.

3.  In the **Sequencer** dialog box, click **Yes**.

**To modify the properties of an embedded service**

1.  Click the **Virtual Services** tab.

2.  Right-click the service whose properties you want to modify, and select **Properties**.

3.  In the **Office Source Engine Properties** dialog box, complete the following tasks:

    1.  In the **Display Name** text box, type the name of the service.

    2.  In the **Description** text box, type a description of the service.

    3.  In the **Path to Executable** text box, enter the path to the executable file.

    4.  From the **Startup Type** drop down list, select how the service is to start up—manually, automatically, or not.

    5.  Click **OK**.
