# How to Rename an Application


You can rename an application through the Application Virtualization Server Management Console.

**To rename an application**

1.  In the left pane of the management console, click **Applications**.

2.  Right-click the application and choose **Rename**.

3.  Enter the new name and press **Enter**, or click outside of the box to cancel.

    **Note**  
    You can also highlight the application in the right pane and press **F2**.
