If you’re running Windows 10 version 1703 (Creators Update) or newer, you can unlock a hidden UWP version of File Explorer.

  1. Right click on your desktop, New > Shortcut
  2. Copy/paste this in the location textbox and hit Next/Ok/Finish:
    C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:AppsFolder\c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy!App

That’s it. Maybe this luke-warm coffee of a tip doesn’t deserve its own post, however it’s here for some reason. If you like simple, non-technical configurations on your computer then this may suite you well, just like an Apple fan with a one-button mouse. Safari? I don’t think the internet is a Safari any more, considering you should know Pornhub gets more monthly visitors than NetFlix. Isn’t that just disturbing?
